Low-T-Race Team

After several decades of sanity, these race team members returned to their youthful ways.

John can be usually found nursing sore/broken ribs from crashes he blames on those "damn young kids on the track". He constantly tells, anyone that will listen to him, about "these are the hardest bikes to ride on this track, we don't have all of that suspension these young kids do, they don't get it".

Hugh recently revealved a new technique when he won the AHRMA race at Barber's Motorsports Park this past year. Most of the racers were squaring off corners, or riding the berms through the corners. Hugh quickly showed the field how to win by ricocheting from hay bale to hay bale around the track. He had such a lead, he had time to actually pull of the track and do a few donuts. I have known Hugh for almost my entire life and absolutely no one on this earth can make me laugh like he can. I could not ask for a better friend than Hugh.

"Fireman Bill" is a local Houston Hotshoe that can be found in one of two places at the track. He is either flying around the track in style or in the pits with the carb off of his bike. When I first met Bill he was working on his bike in the pits. He can pull a Mikuni carb, rejet it and have it back on in under 3 minutes. He waits on me to get to the track to start his bike for him.

Wyatt Jackson has been flying around Motocross tracks for decades. He also rides the Loretta Lynn Cross Country events on his Husqvarna.

Even when we are at the starting gate for the wrong race, no one is having more fun than we are.

We are all doing our part for preserving the Vintage MX bikes that were our pride and joy in our youth.
