Cool Stuff and Nice People

1972 Yamaha LT2 100MX - First dirt bike. Notice a couple of things - lineman boots, no silencer, Preston Petty Fender, wide bars, and a kidney belt that held kidneys tight, not blubber. Saved my money to buy a 21” front rim and tire. Finally got a used one and that was “trick”. This 100MX fit in the bed of my dad’s El Camino, just right, if you put it in straight and had the kickstand down. Just slam the tailgate and it wouldn’t move. Never even knew what tie-downs were, or what they were for.
