Another picture of the 1971/72 400MC Ake Jonsson Replica - I'll post the seller's name when I get permission to do so. What a beautiful Maico! Below the picture of my bike, there are two pictures of the actual bike that Ake raced. Ake had a yellow bike and an orange bike. One was raced in the USA and the other in Europe. I have a second Ake replica underway, in yellow to match this bike. Some of the historical photos show him wearing the #27 and others show him wearing the #2. Some photos show a silver frame, others show a black frame. Again, I think it is the difference in the US bike and the European bike. The most notable item is the small clutch cover (round cover) on the left side of the Radial engine. That conversion is not a small task.
